Personality - Let us know what your character is like! Tell us their weaknesses, their strengths, anything you think is important: Morgaine is definitely a thinker, and prefers to see Divination as a solid subject, and not just a hindrance or a bore. She works hard in that class, as well as History of Magic, but she refuses to share her notes with those who've fallen asleep in the class. She has a penchant for gum, any flavor, the wilder the better, and is often seen blowing bubbles, especially when working. She also carries a journal with her, and it is known to those in her house as Fay. She's not exactly shy, but making new friends seems to be almost a foreign concept to her. However, once friends are in the mix, she becomes protective of them, kind of like the mother hen. But break out the bubbly, and she begins to ramble like there's no tomorrow. Bubbly is too strong a word for her, but she is cheerful, and normally has a positive outlook on life, no matter how cheesy it sounds. Lying is not one of her strong suits, nor is being blunt. Morgaine tends to beat around the bush, uncertain of the kinds of things people could say if she tells them what she really feels. If she has a problem with someone or something, it gets written down in her journal, as it allows her to vent. Despite that though, she's an excellent secret-keeper, and feels that she can be highly trusted. She trusts her Tarot implicitly, and sometimes lets what she reads determine her mood.


Family Background (if their parents aren't canon characters that we know enough about - just a couple of sentences): She has an older sister, presently in seventh year, and a brother, the same age as her. Her father is Miles Bletchley, who married a pureblood woman sometime after he left Hogwarts.

Character History - what happened to your character when they were younger and in the time before the game began? Tell us here: When she was five, her parents discovered that she was lactose-intolerant while out shopping in Diagon Alley. She had been eating ice cream, when her tongue began to swell. By the time they reached St. Mungo's, she was hysterical, and from then on, she had an intense, but incredibly irrational fear of anything to do with milk, and sometimes cows. Other than that, she had the basic training any pureblood child gets, but because of her orientation, she seems to be the black sheep of the family, but she doesn't resent telling her parents. If anything, it served to help make her more tolerable of the world outside the barriers.


Miscellaneous (skills, anything else you think is important): Enjoys reading Tarot, mostly for herself, and she is slightly on the fence about doing reading for other people. Because of her name, she is used to anyone calling her Morgan le Fay, and that is the reason for naming her journal.

Slowly, Morgaine flipped the cards over, laying them upright on the silk cover. Her face remained impassive as the spread took shape, her dark eyes held no emotion. Once the last card was down, she let a smile break through. It seemed like it held good news, and an answer to her question. She regarded each card carefully, and consulted her book when she needed it.

The High Priestess. Now, that was interesting. It gave her much to think about, being the last card, and so she scooped up the well-worn cards, placing them back into their ornate wooden box, to be stored at the bottom of her trunk. She ran a pale hand through her dark hair, wincing slightly as her ring caught and pulled. She scratched the spot, reaching down with her other hand to grab a piece of Wizard gum. She popped it into her mouth, savoring the taste, and the crackle of magic that sent a small shock through her. No matter what anyone else said, Wizard gum was always better than the other stuff. Moving to her window, she blew out the candle that burned there on the sill, inhaling as the scent of cinnamon filled the room. She closed the heavy drapes that kept her room in an almost permanent state of darkness, then crossed to the door, leaving the room to make her way outside to catch the last of the sunset.
